very cool article! I have come to view running differently, since I immersed myself in kettlebell sport. Not exactly the same way you describe here, but similar: each run is "practice" not a "workout". That means focus is on technique, breathing etc. Practicing the skill of running. I have found this helped tremendously. Similar mindset to what you describe here. I love the idea of seeing walking breaks similar to rest periods when lifting! I still hate to take walking breaks...so I will try this out today :D
