This is so well written. My ex definitely wanted me to meet her every needs. I supported her financially and emotionally. When I needed space for myself or communicated that I didn't want to spend so much of my income supporting her because she made bad choices before we met, she got upset. I am mad at myself that I didn't protect my boundaries, but (I hope) I learned my lessons.
