Thanks for the write-up of your plan and the thoughts behind it! I too am a fan of fartlek running and include them almost weekly - not really scheduled though but as an option, when I am feeling good I will do one, when not then I just have another "easy" day on that day.

I am cheering you on to crack the 4h :)
