Thank you for writing this informative article! I was, well...afraid when I started to lift seriously around 2012. There were all kinds of stories about "slipped disks" and other things that heavy lifting might cause... . Of course over the years my body has gotten stronger and I am much more resilient now than before I started lifting :D.
