Love your article but it's worth mentioning that the "reduced lean mass" / "muscle loss" in the ketogenic diet might not have been "true" lean mass loss after all... as per the study: "When carbohydrate intake is minimized, muscle glycogen decreases, and consequently, the water bound to glycogen (water binds to glycogen in a ratio of approximately 3:1 [32]) is reflected as a reduced lean mass in DXA measurements." The study design didn't account for that. Just food for thought.
