I wish you much fun and success :). I had a successful first 100-miler 10 days ago and believe the heavy strength training I have been doing over the past 5 years is what keeps me injury free now (before my running break I would get injured frequently, which is why I stopped running...). I like Roche's approach but I also love long days out. My body manages them very well (to my surprise :)).
