I don't know...I grew up dirt poor and we often struggled to get enough food. We moved constantly because my parents struggled to pay rent. I am much better off now but I still don't buy lots of stuff. What prices are going up? Here it's oil and food -basic necessities! So many people are seriously struggling right now and not because they can not afford to buy "stuff" anymore but because they need to pay much more for food! In a "first world country" (Germany).
