I am exactly like you :) I have been single for many, many years before finally meeting my current partner. A friend of mine is constantly going on dates and she often tells me "how amazing, and wow" the person is she just met.

Like you, I had trust issues, still have but I am healing more and more. And like you I simply didn't feel ready for a relationship.
