Thank you so much for your detailed points. I agree with all of them. I love motivational books, podcasts etc. because they help getting over a slump or can help me get going again. But I think a big mistake is to rely on the feeling to do something. Sometimes we just have to get going despite "not feeling it". Love your last point. That's what it really comes down to in the end. Not only in fitness but in all areas of life. When I think about what I really want and what success means to me and act accordingly I feel much more fulfilled and achieve my goals with more fun and ease. The less I try to do or be what I think I "should" be the more focused and "disciplined" I am.
