And not even then do you get promoted / pay raise...at least in my experience. Sad truth. Me now wanting to "slack off" has nothing to do with pre-covid benefits that now suddenly are not there yet anymore. I decided before Covid that I want out and used the 2 yrs to study on the side. Now I am ready to change directions and the last few months in my company I will do my work but certainly not 150% anymore.
